The Institute's Life Skills program helps adolescents acquire employable skills. The Guadalupe Institute focuses on developing communication, problem solving, and time management as well as particular trades.
Our program provides hands-on experience with computers, construction, plumbing as well as other trades. Each class, limited to six students, not only enables participants to acquire beneficial skills but encourages their personal responsibility and teamwork.
By helping the Institute’s participants gain such skills, we offer them a chance to expand their horizons, find marketable employment and live with purpose and dignity.
In these photos we show only a few of the hundreds of adolescents who successfully completed our Life Skills program. Those individuals may have studied at Guadalupe Institute for only a few years but during that time they acquired useful skills and strengthened their self-esteem.

Our mission is to respond to the developmental needs of children living in poverty, domestic instability or confronting cognitive/physical limitations.
