World Spark built St. Bernard’s Middle School in Kiserian, Kenya in support of the Sisters of the Holy Spirit religious community serving in Kenya and Tanzania. The Holy Spirit Sisters, who also work at Village Enterprises’ St. Anthony Village and Assumption Village, maintain an elementary school and medical complex in Kiserian. Working on behalf of the sisters and the village community, World Spark constructed a Middle School that is administered by the Holy Spirit Sisters. In the future World Spark plans to collaborate again with the Holy Spirit Sisters to construct a water purification facility, surgical hospital theater and a high school and dormitory.
